we're here to answer all your questions for your gals who travel trip.
what happens when I land at the airport? many of our trips you have a free airport pick up included if you're arriving as per your trip or you've booked a prenight so one of friendly vetted drivers will be waiting for you with a sign with your name on it! if your airport pick up is not included you can book one directly with the team so you're all sorted getting to our start hotel! <3
can i speak to the girls & my tour leader before I arrive? of course!! it's one of the best things about our trips!! we create our whatsapp chats about 30 days beforehand and we'll pop you an email over to invite you to join the chat!!
will i share a room on my trip? most gals share a twin room, or if we're in a hostel it'll be a private dorm just for us gals. it's one of the best bits, honestly, most lifelong friendships on our trips started with "so what time do you actually go to bed." but if you'd rather have your own space, that's totally fine too, you can speak to the team on live chat or drop them an email for the costings of a single room!!

will i fit in? what is the average age?
another question we get a lot is will i actually fit in? and we get it, solo travel can feel super overwhelming and scary but we have an amazing community of like minded girls who all want to see the world safely, make deep friendships and travel further. our community is built on empowering women so you'll be sure to fit in. you'll also have a local tour guide who will make sure you're comfortable and happy throughout the trip, you can ask them anything and they'll be there throughout!!
how old is the average age of gals who travel trips? our trips are designed for gals 18-35 although we don't have a upper age limit cut off, aslong as you think you'll enjoy the vibe of the trip, you're welcome to join!!
is it safe to travel alone as a women? one of the reasons we created gals who travel was to create a safe space for women to travel solo but together. to create group adventures with vetted accommodation, transport and a local guide to show you beautiful destinations without the added stress of worrying about your safety. we do everything we can to make our trips as safe as possible for your travels.
is there free time? who's leading my trip?
we get these questions often and it's your holiday so we want you to enjoy every minute? so here's some answers as you plan your next trip?
is there free time and do i have to do all the activities? on all our trips we make sure there's free time for the gals to unwind, go shopping or just sit back and relax!! all activites are completely optional so if you fancy a morning to yourself or you'd prefer to spend the day by the pool that's so fine!! just let your tour leader know. on all our trips we have dinner together every evening but if you fancy a different restaurant or just want to order room service, its your holiday to enjoy <3
who's leading my trip? our amazing tour leaders are at the heart of gals who travel. in all our destination our tour guides are local to the country you're visiting and know all the best spots to visit!! where possible we try to employ female tours guides to support our gals who travel ethos even further of empowering women through travel. all our tour guides are vetted, and trained in female safety & our brand mission and are one of the reasons our gals love our trips so much!!

Such an incredible experience. I’ve never been away solo travelling and wanted an opportunity to do so but meet new people. I loved that girls who travel allowed girls to feel safe exploring new places and this company made it all possible.
Mita was absolutely amazing, truly could not have asked for a better tour guide. She was so organised and knew everything about everything but also felt like a friend and member of the group. I loved hearing her stories and she is truly iconic. She is so funny and I genuinely enjoyed spending time with her. I learnt so much from her and will remember her forever. She arranged extra activities for us to do such as jewellery making which she didn’t have to do. Overall, Mita is an incredible tour guide.
This experience was the most incredible trip ever. I gained so much confidence. The people were the best ever. Do this trip. It will most certainly improve your life.
WOW. I can’t believe the trip has come to an end. i am a 24 year old from Liverpool who has never travelled alone before. being in a group of like minded girls who have all come together on the other side of the world, because we all felt we needed something, has been nothing short of amazing. it’s so hard to find like minded people - gals who travel fixed this!
Our tour guide - Mita - where do I start. to answering all my questions before the trip on WhatsApp, to meeting you irl in Bali. there was nothing you would not do for us girls. Your smile lit us up on early mornings and your laughter kept us going through the night. I love you my Bali sister!!!

I went on the gals who travel Sri Lanka trip in February and it was the most incredible trip of a lifetime. Sri Lanka is the most beautiful country - it was literally tropical paradise! My favourite moment in the itinerary was the elephant safari through the national park and then we spent the night glamping in the jungle!!! We literally went to bed with the sounds of the jungle surrounding us and then woke up to noises of monkeys and nearby elephants. The whole trip is magical from start to finish but that part felt extra special <3
Also worth mentioning that everything was made super simple for me, all I had to do was book my flights - the rest was all handled!! It was so nice to go to a brand new part of the world and just relax and take it in, rather then having to plan everything myself!!
Sri Lanka and Hasi have my heart!!! the most incredible 10 days exploring Sri Lanka and i loved every single minute of it, the food, the company, the activities were all amazing and i left this trip with 19 new lifelong girl friends! if you're thinking of doing this trip... BOOK IT!! i hope you get Hasi!! he's the most thoughtful, passionate and kind person and made our whole experience 11/10!!

I went on the Morocco Uncovered GWT trip in March and had the time of my life!! This was my first trip like this and I’m soooo glad I did it.
The activities on the trip were amazing and our guide, Driss, went above and beyond to make sure we were getting the most out of our trip. I felt truly immersed in Moroccan culture and feel so lucky to have experienced the Sahara Desert, Atlas Mountains, and Marrakech.
I also found this trip really reasonable price for all of the bucket list activities we were doing. Would recommend this trip to anyone!
I had the best chemistry with the group, with the gals and the guide. It feels like a group of best friends .Chris is the stage best guide I could ever ask for. I got along so well with him. I felt in a safe, comfortable place. I think he excelled at his role. He provided us with all the important information, really good recommendations, and valuable advice.
I can’t imagine this without Chris. As a group, we hit the jackpot to have him as a tour guide. Forever grateful for the opportunity of meeting Vietnam along with these gals and Chris.
