welcome to sofia 🇧🇬
welcome to beautiful sofia!! today is the first day of our trip so arrive anytime, we'll meet up in the evening for a welcome dinner and get to know the other gals joining us on our ski trip!! sofia is pretty much a walkable city with stunning architechture and history. arrive early and take a look around!! we'd recommend checking out the women's market if you're a foodie lover or you just want to sit and watch the afternoon go by cafe & coffee culture is rich in sofia so you'll find great coffee spots on nearly every corner!! in the evening we'll head out for a gals dinner together before we hit the slopes tomorrow!!!
travel to bansko & first night in the mountains
this morning we head off to bansko and the start of our ski trip!! grab a coffee and a pastry or try a traditional bulgarian breakfast nearby before we board our private coach and make our way to bankso. we'll arrive in the afternoon and once checked in, we'll head off to get our ski gear fitted. all your ski hire, boots and lift passes are included on our trip so you have nothing to worry about, we'll sort it all for you!! once we've sized up for the next few days ahead it's back to our gorgeous hotel for an incredible dinner!! enjoy the hotel's spa facilities, relax and unwind after dinner or head out with the group to explore the local aprés bars!! our wonderful guides know all the best spots!!

today is our first day waking up surrounded by the snowwy mountains and it's a beautiful morning!! we'll have breakfast in the hotel, enjoy lots of fresh fruit, a cooked breakfast or some pastries before we hit the slopes!! never skiied before? that's okay!! our ski resort has a range of slopes for all different abilities!! if you'd like you can prebook ski lessons with our team at the time of booking so you can learn from professional as you go!! the day if yours to explore the mountain, try a few different runs before we meet back up for aprés, a delicous dinner and an evening dancing under the stars.

it's another beautiful day in the mountains and we'll spend the day on the slopes again!! the day is yours to spend as you please, prefer a chilled morning by the pool and in the sauna before hitting the slopes? no problem!! grab a delicious breakfast in the hotel and we'll spend the day skiing through the powdery mountains and forest pine landscapes. if you prefer sit back and grab a hot chocolate or continue with your lessons. the area and town is so beautiful and the mountains are huge so there's so much to see and do!! after a day of skiing or snowboarding together we'll get ready and head out for an aperol or two!!

wake up, look out the window and it's a beautiful day to hit the slopes!! head down for breakfast, grab a pre ski sauna or fill up on coffee before we spend the day on the mountains. this is the perfect girls ski trip!! we'll spend the day skiing up and down the mountains, trying out new runs and stopping for tasty food and drinks throughout the day!! with our gals ski trips we normally have a range of levels of girls book on so find some girls or a similar level and ski together!! we'll head back late afternoon to get ready before having dinner together and heading out into the town!!
our last day on the slopes 🏂
it's our last full day on the slopes and we hope you've had an amazing few days!! spend today skiing your favourite runs or maybe trying out a new one of a higher level!! if you've been taking lessons, enjoy an afternoon trying out what you've learnt!! bansko is a beautiful ski resort area so make sure to explore it in all it's beauty!! after a day of skiing and snowboarding (if you like) we'll drop our equipment back and head for one last aprés ski evening and night!!

today's our last day on our ski adventure, we'll pack up our bags and travel back to sofia. it's been an incredible trip in the mountains, skiing the slopes and enjoying aperols and hot chocolates surrounded by gorgeous snow capped views!! whether this is the start of your euro adventure or you're heading home, your tour leader is around for anything you need at all!!

Sanne was such a fantastic tour guide for our Andorra ski trip. She was super friendly, organised and always brought great energy to the group, making the whole week run smoothly while still feeling really fun and relaxed. She had great recommendations for runs and après spots, and always made sure everyone felt included and looked after. Sanne genuinely made the trip, couldn’t have asked for a better guide!
The trip was amazing and met some wonderful people. I learnt how to ski on the trip and glad that I made it down in one piece on the last ski day on the blue slope 😅. Thought it was never going to end ! Sanne was amazing, helpful and a really nice person.
Sanne was an amazing guide throughout the andorra ski trip, despite a huge group of us she kept it well organised, made us all feel super safe and made herself apart of the group - we had sooo much fun with her. She was amazing at navigating the pistes for our ski group, we managed to do a whole 140km of skiing over the 4 days!!! Not to mention her getting stuck into the apres and nights out (I honestly am in awe of her being up for it every night after a full day of skiing because I definitely wasn’t !!😆) Sanne honestly felt like one of the girls and I couldn’t recommend her/sing her praise...
The gals who travel Andorra ski trip was honestly amazing, such a fun itinerary, great people, brilliant skiing, and a lovely hotel! Sanne our tour leader was so knowledgeable about everything, giving us recommendations on ski runs, bars, and Barcelona spots! She made the trip so much fun, getting to know each of us individually and helping us to make the most of our itinerary! Our group was very big and she still managed to keep us all organised and on-time which was so impressive. Couldn’t recommend the trip and Sanne enough!
Sanne was one of the best guides I’ve had on a tour group. She was very knowledgeable and was a fun and open person. The Andorra ski trip was so much fun. I highly recommend to beginners or active skiers/snowboarders

did you know around 90% of gals who travel travellers come solo!! we've built our ski trip we've solo travellers in mind and it's one of the reasons we have larger groups for our ski trip so our gals can meet gals of all levels of ski so when you get out on the slopes you'll be with gals of a similar level!!
of course, but we'd recommend booking ski lessons through the team!! this can be done no later than 30 days before the trip starts!! bulgaria is a wonderful place to learn to ski with lots of beginner slopes!!
Make sure to pack warm clothes for both the day and the evening!! lots of layers are the key to staying warm when skiing so you can put on and take off as you please!! make sure to bring thermals, warm and comfortable clothing and waterproof ski gear. Don't forget to also pack some waterproof gloves, socks and sunnies/goggles!
All your essentials are included! We'll go for a fitting when we arrive in Bansko on day 2 to get make sure you're sized up correctly! On our ski trip we included ski hire, poles, your helmet and boots!! alongside a 4 day ski lift pass.
No, ski lessons are not included in the price, but we can add beginner ski lessons for an extra cost. To book lessons, please contact info@trutravels.com If you want to add on ski lessons, these will need to be done at least 30 days before your tour. Please note that we can only book beginner ski lessons. If you are looking for more advanced lessons or snowboarding lessons, these will need to be booked by you. Lessons will vary by price depending on whether you choose a collective or individual lesson and what time you book.
